Published on January 27, 2010 By ImStein In Windows 7

I just got my new laptop with Win7. I have spent a bit of time loading in the programs I want from Stardock, Logon being one of them. I am now having issues with loading/applying any of the logons. I have hit apply and nothing happens. I still have the original logon that comes with the puter. Does anyone have any troubleshoots for me to try to see how I can get this to work? I am slightly jonesing for my logon....Help please.

I have the same problem as ImStein. I installed logonstudio and I can't get it to apply. There seems to be a compatibility problem with windows 7, however it says it should work with it. Someone please help with this...I miss my logons.

Are they Acer laptops, I think I read in a computer magazine they have compatibility issues with certain things at startup due to some type of proprietry software. Also I think to run XP compatibility mode a boot setting has to be changed as well.

I have an Acer Windows 7/64 bit laptop and have no problems using Logon. Go into Impulse and right click on LogonStudio, then choose Verify Installation.

It is an Acer...and thanks for the help. It seems that I did do something (what, I don't know) and shortly there after, Logon started working. Go figure.

I'm having the same problem on a new HP Desktop. What were you doing, when you did whatever it is you don't know what you did?
